Effect of lamination schemes on natural frequency and modal damping of fiber reinforced laminated beam using Ritz method

چکیده
The current study focussed on analysing natural frequency and damping of laminated composite beams (LCBs) by varying fiber angle, aspect ratio, material property boundary conditions. Ritz method with displacement field based the shear normal deformable theory is used modal calculated using strain energy method. Effects symmetric angle-ply cross-ply, anti balanced quasi-isotropic lay up schemes are presented for first time. Results revealed that influence lay-up scheme frequencies significant thin while not sensitive to scheme. However, influences significantly thick beams. Similarly, high strength reinforced LCBs have higher low due better fiber-matrix interaction.
